so saturday was my backyard graduation party.
i expected to have a lot of fun, because come on... a whole bunch of my loveliest friends and homemade ice cream, how can it get much better?
i expected something along the lines of this.

my dad totally surprised me and i feel extremely stupid for not figuring it out! i'm really glad i didn't, though, as it was rather exciting being surprised. :D

garden state was good. i enjoyed it, but not really as much as i thought i would... but i think it's one of those movies that i will like better a few days after i've seen it (e.g. lost in translation). but yeah, zach braff is amazing.

disneyland was much fun (as always). had some quality time with the boyfriend. :) we wandered through the world of disney store twice to try to find meghan, but to no avail.... sigh.

i love watching fantasmic and i really want to be one of the crew people for it.

remind me never to wear flip-flops to disneyland again, for i am stupid and i will probably forget, despite the fact that my feet are in pain.

i'm looking forward to spending time with the girls tomorrow because i haven't seen denise in a few days and that's entirely too long. and i need to give them their presents that i keep forgetting.

i also get to go to good ole MD tomorrow to get books or something... i don't know, my mom is taking me...

and now i'm off to go watch the olympics and perhaps a disney movie and eat my peanut butter cookies. au revoir!

uh, i guess i just realized how much caffeine affects me. all i had was a mocha frap and i can't stop moving. i just cleaned my entire desk in about 3 minutes. and i think i'll clean the rest of my room shortly.

today was a good day.

i got a substantial amount of summer homework done (go me!) and then i went to dinner with my dad. we had many interesting conversations, as usual. i love him so much. :) it's good to know that whatever happens in my life, he's always there for me, and he gives the best advice... love ya pops.

anyway, then i went to disneyland and surprisingly had an awesome time. (i've kinda learned to not have great expectations.) i met matt and dani and jenni at mcdonalds, and there were these two guys that were there that give me a high five because they liked my suburban legends t-shirt. :) i haven't worn this thing in like a year... anyway then we headed over to d-land to see 80z all stars, and we watched a couple of their sets. i want to go to one of their "real" shows so i can get their cd and t-shirt and stuff... then mike came (yay!) and we watched the fireworks... and watched fantasmic... and went on haunted mansion... good times.

i've been thinking a lot about college lately... i don't know why... mainly just the whole going away part. kinda scares me. it's only a year away, but i feel like i don't have enough time to tell the people i care about just how much they mean to me. meh. this year is going to be so hectic, and it's going to go by so fast... hopefully i'll be able to make the best of it. i just want to tell you all that i love you, even if i don't say it enough. and all of you that are going to college now, i'm gonna miss you. <3

ok i'm done being lame... i think i'll go to bed now (gasp!) because i'm really tired. and i don't want to stay up until 4 again. argh...

p.s. melted ghirardelli mint chocolate is the BEST. oh man. i think i may eat the whole bar. stop meee... it's so melty and yummy...

well, i'd rather not write out everything denise and i did while in frisco, so here's a super-big picture post (sorry if your computer crashes.) of some of our adventures. by the way, i seriously want to live in that city...

i'll post pictures of the show last night in a separate post... cause there's too many here already. :)

our hotel was about two doors down from here. chinatown is so cool!

eeek! there were so many pretty vespas in san fran! we both wanted this one.

we had to go on these... they were indeed pretty fast.

we rode the cable cars to fisherman's wharf (it's really fun when you hang off the side...)

inside the car... oh man, there were about 20 twelve-year-old girls sitting on either side of us that were really annoying. they were even having a debate on who's better, kerry or bush. it was actually quite amusing.

first we went to university of san francisco, it was really nice. but nothing too picture-worthy.

then we went to stanford! lots of picture-worthy stuff. hah. it was gorgeous.

even the fish tank was big. haha.

later we parked next to an old mini! i squealed in delight.

check out this mall... the escalators were curved. it was amazing.

sigh.

we ate dinner at a little place in this big row of foreign restaurants...

and in the bathroom the walls were made of chalkboard. such a cool idea. :)

this has been the most lazy two days ever. sheesh.

my parents left yesterday for the cabin, and i didn't want to go so my excuse was that i had a lot of summer homework to do. and that i wanted to go to the gym. and i really do have a lot of work to do... but i ended up doing none of it. why? i don't know. i guess i just forgot that i'm the worst procrastinator in the world. and i didn't go to the gym either. i didn't even go to express to buy the scarf that i really really want. so yeah, didn't do anything. around 4:30 i headed to denise's house, and got there just in time for degrassi. after that we continued to be lazy, after pigging out on tommy's (so good! i've never eaten there.) it was nice. it feels good doing nothing. so i slept over there, and today we went to rc's house with camille and kevin. and we're still here. watching x games, which is neat.

i don't think i've ever been so lazy for so long... but it's actually very refreshing. i could get used to this.

oh, we watched valley girl. good movie. except nicolas cage's character reminds me of my ex. so it was weird watching it. bleh...

i'm excited cause WEEKEND OF SKA is tomorrow night!!! weeeeeeeee! seriously, that is going to be the best time ever. then the san fran trip later to see solemite for the last time. i have mixed feelings about that... i love them so much.

so i am currently sitting in kathee's bedroom with her and denise, and we have two quarts of ice cream and a dozen krispy kremes.

"we are such girls." yeah we are...

i love these girls. we watched jackass the movie earlier and i laughed my ass off cause i had never seen it.... oh man... hahah

ok i'm off to eat a lot of junk and watch quintuplets. sweeet. and later we're watching the ashlee simpson show... :D
